I wanted to enjoy one of the first warm days of spring so I decided to take a stroll across the Roebling Bridge. If you are interested in taking the nice walk you can either park at the entrance to the Bridge in KY at one of the many meters or at The Banks on the Cincinnati side. During your trip I recommend stopping at The Gruff in Covington. The Gruff has great food and a good Beer selection plus a nice Deli and is located at the entrance to the bridge. Here are a few of my favorite shots of the trip.
While out enjoying the warmer weather, that has pulled us out of the deep freeze of winter, we took a trip down Findlay Market. Findlay Market is located in Over-the-Rhine and is the place to go if you want locally grown food and unique, locally created products. Findlay Market has been operating in the same iron-framed building since 1855 and is truly a vibrant living landmark in Cincinnati.
After a portrait workshop I did in Kentucky, I decided to stop down by one of my favorite places to shoot Cincinnati. I find the Great American Insurance building , with Great American Ball Park in the forefront makes for a visually nice Skyline. That particular night the Reds had something on their jumbo tron that was casting purple onto everything. The other image I posted is from the base of the Roebling bridge in Kentucky. The Roebling Bridge is a suspension bridge that opened in December of 1866. At that time it was the longest suspension bridge in the world.
